How to use Houss

This page only explains the app. The chat bubble cannot see your house, meals, staff, or lists.

Closed trial: searching “Houss” in Play Store or App Store will not work yet. Use the links below. Sign-in uses your Indian mobile number. The login code is in the note or PDF your host sent — this page will never show that code.

Install on Android

1. Open this link in Chrome (not inside WhatsApp if the page looks blank): https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.houss.app
2. Tap Become a tester (or Join).
3. Install Houss from Play Store. It uses the Google account already on that phone.

Install on iPhone

1. Install TestFlight from the App Store (blue Apple app).
2. Open this link in Safari: https://testflight.apple.com/join/AaSzBcxA
3. Tap Accept, then Install. Houss appears on the home screen.

Sign in

1. Open Houss. Enter your 10-digit Indian mobile number.
2. When it asks for a code, type the code from the note or PDF your host sent. Do not wait for an SMS.
3. Same code for owner, family, and staff in this trial. Stay signed in.

Create the home — one person only

After login, the household owner names the family (for example Sharma Family) and the house or flat, then taps Create household.

Do not let staff or relatives create another household. That makes extra empty homes. Family and staff should wait to be added by mobile number.

Add family and staff

1. Open Manage (bottom tab).
2. Family Members — name + mobile number.
3. Staff Management — name, mobile, and role (cook, driver, maid, and so on).
4. Skip “Add another household” for this first home.
5. They install Houss, sign in with the number you added, and land in your home. They must not create a new household.

Everyday use

Home — tiles to request a meal, book a driver, add shopping, and more.

Meals — request today’s meal or set the menu so the cook can see it.

Driver — book a trip (place, time, which driver). Vehicles is the car registry (RC, insurance, PUC), not the trip button.

Shopping — add kirana items. Owner items can go straight to To buy.

Staff / Duties — lists of daily work. Staff tick items when done.

Attendance — staff check in / out (or the owner / guard marks them), as set in Household settings.

Payroll — salary, attendance calendar, advances, pay salary. Owners open it from Home or Manage.

Appliances — fridge, AC, and so on, with bill and warranty papers.

Voice — green Voice on Home. Speak or type in Hindi or English, check the draft, then Submit. It can create meals, driver trips, shopping lines, clothes bags, and staff duties. It does not change vehicles or appliances.

Clothes — press, dry clean, or dhobi. Bags by person or House. Confirm when clothes return.

Calendar — household events. You can attach a meal, driver, or staff task.

Profile — your name, language (English / हिंदी), and log out. Account & privacy is at the bottom.

Stuck?

• Open store links in Chrome or Safari, not inside WhatsApp.
• Wrong empty home after login — the owner should add that mobile number from Manage, then they sign in again.
• Email info@houss.co.in with Android or iPhone and the mobile number. Do not send the login code by email unless asked.
